Do you do art trades?

I am not currently doing any art trades!

What do you use to make your woodcut paintings?

My woodcut paintings are cut from 1/2” MDF (medium density fiberboard) with a bandsaw or jigsaw. I use two coats of general purpose primer, sanding between layers, and use either latex paint or Liquitex acrylic paint to apply the design. After it’s painted, I apply several coats of a matte polycrylic spray finish, and screw in D-hooks on the back side.

What do you use to make your magnets?

My critter magnets are cut from 1/4” MDF (medium density fiberboard) with a scroll saw. I use one coat Liquitex brand gesso, sanding afterward, and use Liquitex acrylic paint and Posca paint pens to apply the design. After the design is finished, I apply several coats of a matte polycrylic spray finish, and adhere Neodymium magnets to the back with E6000 glue.

Do you create NFTs/can I hire you to create ones?

NOPE, and this is not open for discussion.

Can I get your work tattooed on me?

Most work, yes, but please read the following!

NO CLIENT WORK/COMMISSION WORK MAY BE TATTOOED UNLESS YOU ARE THE CLIENT. If you’re not sure whether a piece falls under this category, shoot me an email or DM on Instagram/Twitter.

Some of my work (lineless illustration, paintings… etc) does not lend itself well to directly becoming a tattoo, and I would hate to see someone get a tattoo that doesn’t last. So if you like the design of a piece that isn’t inherently tattooable, I suggest taking it to a tattoo artist you trust and having them add/adjust (within reason) what they think is necessary to get a great finished product!

I have a tattoo ticket option for purchase in my shop! If you plan on copying a design (even with minor adjustments from a tattoo artist as stated above) then please purchase a tattoo ticket! However, if you’re just taking inspiration from a piece, and it’s adjusted well enough away from my original design, a tattoo ticket isn’t necessary.

Can I buy your work in person?

Yes! You can buy some of my work up at Tuggles Gifts & Goods in Indianapolis IN and at Cloud Curio in Bloomington IN!

I’m missing an item in my order!

Although I double-check every order, I occasionally mess up on this stuff! Make sure to thoroughly check your parcel (sometimes things stick together or get disorganized) and if you still don’t see your item, send me a message and I’ll ship it out to you :)

Why do you not ship to my country?

Shipping out internationally as a small business has always been a nightmare, but it’s become even more of a nightmare in the past year or so. The list of countries I can ship to has downsized due to new policies, and I simply can’t afford it :/

Do you print all your items?

Unless specified otherwise, all print items are printed by me! The most notable items NOT printed by me are my bandanas and risograph prints.

I never received my order!

This could be for several reasons!

RETURNED PARCELS

  • If there’s an issue with delivery and I receive your parcel back, I can either refund the value of the items (not shipping), OR you can pay additional shipping to have me resend your parcel.

  • If you’re an international customer: sometimes international orders take a lot longer than expected! Please keep an eye on your tracking and be ready to retrieve your package and pay the additional VAT if necessary.

  • International folks, if you still have not received your parcel, it may have been returned to me. This is likely due to not paying the VAT tax for your parcel (which the customer is responsible for). Please read more about that on my shipping page.

  • For US customers: there was likely something wrong with the address you input. Always make sure you double-check your address before placing an order!

  • If I receive your order back, I will contact you through email.

STOLEN/LOST PARCELS

  • Sometimes items take a while to reach you! Give it some time, and if you still haven’t received your item, reach out to me via email (sophia@crytime.art).
